If you’ve been in the Pearl District lately, you may have noticed this new silo on top of the building at NW 10th and Davis. This is the new location for Deschutes Brewery’s newest pub called Deschutes Brewery and Public House. It’s located across the street from the Gerding Theater (Portland Armory Building) and is scheduled to open near the end of April.
The interior will feature large large timber beams reclaimed from an old building in Portland. The timber will be used to construct the bar, tables and other design elements giving the pub the aesthetics and style to fit right in with other Pearl establishments.
The pub is a great casual addition to the Pearl District and Portland in general, further endorsing the city as the craft beer capital of the world. We know Deschutes makes great beer, so hopefully the food menu will follow suit and provide another great option for locals.
