Bob is the founder of the Portland Real Estate Café. He entered the real estate profession in the prime of his professional career, first as an investors/developer and subsequently as a broker after previous professional experiences in high tech marketing (Hewlett-Packard), consumer packaged goods marketing (The Dial Corp), and Financial Services (HG Wellington & Co., Stonebridge Capital Corp.).

He brings a “classical” consumer and trade marketing acumen to the business which helps him better position and promote client properties to buyers and agents. The wall-street and business development experience are at the foundation of a keen financial acumen to help clients make sound real estate investments. The corporate and management experience help guide a customer service orientation that have lead to development of systems that make it easy to do business with us which ultimately which can help explain why our clients are so satisfied with their experiences.

Before settling down to raise his family in Oregon, he has lived and worked in New York, Chicago, Phoenix, and Raleigh, and managed business projects in Europe and Asia. This insight helps Bob’s clients who are relocating into Portland.

Bob is a graduate of Amherst College and has an MBA from the University of Arizona. He extremely active in the community, especially with the Rotary Club of Portland, as a mentor with Portland Impact, and in his children’s schools.
